Internship | Rutgers Scarlet Magazine
The Senior and Junior Graphic Designers were in collaboration with the Journalism team at Rutgers
University in Newark to create the Scarlet Magazine Issue of Spring 2024. This magazine includes stories
or information regarding activism or politics that are going on in our world and close to home as well. I
designed for writer Kenneth Weiss called “Work”
“The decline in college enrollment since the pandemic began – which is a nationwide problem – has been
twice as steep at Rutgers-Newark as it has been at other colleges. We let a student who dropped out a
semesterafter we returned to in-person teaching tell her decade-long tale of trying to get a college degree.”
